Cordell Tanny is a recognized authority in quantitative finance, with over 25 years of experience in the financial services sector. As the President and co-founder of Trend Prophets, Cordell leads the development of a groundbreaking AI and signal-processing-powered investment system, enabling businesses to stay ahead with advanced market analysis.
In addition to his work at Trend Prophets, Cordell serves as the Managing Director of Digital Hub Insights, an educational platform focused on teaching Python and machine learning in finance. Through his widely-followed newsletter, with over 30,000 subscribers, Cordell provides deep insights into quantitative finance and cutting-edge AI investment strategies.
Cordell’s career includes managing a $2 billion CAD multi-asset mutual fund program and founding several companies in the finance and technology sectors. He is a CFA Charterholder, Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM), and holds the Financial Data Professional (FDP) designation. Cordell earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology from McGill University.
As an ambassador for FIAM, a Montreal-based organization dedicated to promoting AI and machine learning in finance, Cordell is committed to developing the next generation of talent in the finance and AI industry.
Additionally, as a part-time lecturer at Concordia University, Cordell shares his knowledge, educating the next generation of finance professionals on the power of AI and quantitative analysis in modern finance.
